I learnt through this topic that it is vital for any business organization to main some ethics and prioritize every sections of the society. The main motive of any business is to earn profit through the mode of production. While conducting any business there should be some line of ethics that any company or organization must maintain for the smoothening their business. Prof. David Cooperrider has introduced the concept of using business as an agent for the betterment of the world. Through this part I learnt that the main objective of this approach is to consider the poor as a potential customer and involve them in any productive activity. In addition, through this concept policy that may help in the betterment of the environment may also be taken up by the business organization in order to act as a benefit providing agents. 2. According to my view, this competitive world is driven by profit-making motive and all the business organization is in a constant race of overtaking one another in their business.. Hence, I think that this topic is important because the beneficial impact of sustainable and efficient innovative ideas on business operation can be understood. The way in which it can help the business grow while at the same time it might help the entire nation in some ways are guided realized through this topic. Say if a company uses high efficient solar panel in their business organization, then it is going to save the non-renewable energy sources leaving it for the consumption purpose of future generation. 3. The topic that business can act as an agent of world benefit and the role of social innovation has helped me to realize the importance of innovation.
